MT2 Browsergame Launch Schedule

Hello everybody, we are closer than never to Release. MT2 Browsergame will release on 30 Oct 2026 at 19:00 CET (Berlin/Germany)! For this purpose, I'd like to inform you about the Schedule (Beta End, what will be kept, what will be wiped & more) 19th of Oct 2026 - 10:00 CET (Berlin/Germany): - Individual Compensation Package frozen for every player. What you see now at https://mt2browsergame.com/compensation is what you will get on your first (new) character after Launch! We did this without prior notification in order to protect the economy of the Beta for the remaining period & prevent suspicious trades. Progression on the Beta will no longer increase the compensation package, but you can still progress your Beta character's skills on the Beta further! 28th of Oct 2026 - 16:00 CET (Berlin/Germany): - The Beta Server of MT2 Browsergame will go down in preparation for the Launch - Beta characters will become locked & unavailable until 9th of Nov 2026 - 19:00 CET - The individual compensation package for every account will be delivered. Your first created character after Launch will get that compensation package directly to his inventory - All Itemshop purchases, that haven't been bound yet (e.g. unbound costumes, Dragon Coin Items & Convenience Bundles) will be refunded as well to the first character created 30th of Oct 2026 - 17:00 CET (Berlin/Germany): - Final Update prior to Release, make sure to download the Client & patch your existing ones for the smoothest experience at Launch! 30th of Oct 2026 - 19:00 CET (Berlin/Germany): - MT2 Browsergame will open its Gates for every player! - New Account creations will enforce a confirmed e-mail address at a known E-Mail Provider (Gmail, Outlook (Hotmail), Yahoo or iCloud) in order to mitigate Bot-Farms 9th of Nov 2026 - 19:00 CET (Berlin/Germany): - All Beta characters will be unlocked and will be possible to become activated at https://mt2browsergame.com/account (make sure to click on the "Activate" Button of your character there) Beta characters will keep: - Level - Skill-Levels - Talent-Levels - Passive-Levels - Horse-Levels - Quests (including Biologist) - Achievements - Any bound cosmetics (they will also be available for your first character after Launch, by directly retrieving it from the Wardrobe or your cosmetic storage on the homepage!) - Marriage & Engagement Ring (if character was married) Following things will get wiped: - Items, Gear, Yang, Storage, K-Inventory, Offlineshop, Offlineshop Safebox, Itemshop Storage (those will be sent to the newly created first character) - Buffi Progression (will be reset to Level 1 for everybody) - Player Owned House Progression - Perma Items - Server-First Achievements & Leaderboard Appearance (Beta characters will not be eligible for Server-Firsts and won't be shown on the Leaderboards) - Guilds & Guildlands - Level Boxes (e.g. the ones you get at 10, 20, 30, 40 etc.) - Karma/Status Points (Beta characters will start with Neutral Karma) You can download the register & download the Client at any point in time you prefer. High Risk PvP Mode

From level 15 you may opt in - and from that moment the world has teeth. Everyone else in High Risk can hunt you anywhere, your own empire included, and pays no price for it. You wear the killer’s mark permanently, so every player who sees you knows what you chose, and dying costs you: your bags spill the way the cruellest players’ do. In exchange every kill earns 50% more experience and finds 25% more drops - all the time, not only in a fight. Nobody is dragged into it: players who stayed out cannot touch you and you cannot touch them, and loot only changes hands within ten levels, so nobody farms people who cannot fight back. Any Guardian switches it off again the moment you have had enough.

A NEW CONTRACT EVERY DAY

The Bounty Hunter

A Bounty Master stands beside every town Guardian with the day’s contracts: hunt what he names, come back, get paid in Bounty Tokens - a currency only he honours, for goods only he sells. Twelve kinds of job, a fresh set every day, and every one of them worth doing on the way to wherever you were going anyway.

The old pile of scrolls is gone. Every quest you carry sits in one window you can move, fold away and read at a glance - and each line says what to do NOW: go here, hunt this many, bring that back. The step you are on, in your language, with the level it was meant for beside it.

NOTHING IN YOUR BAG IS WASTE

The Recycler

Every upgrade material you are never going to use, every skill book you already know, every spirit stone that has sat in your bag since level 30: drag them into the Recycling Window and the Recycler turns the lot into Recycling Tokens. His shop is the only place that takes them, and what it stocks is worth the walk - material, skill, class-skill and enchant boxes. He stands beside the General Store Saleswoman in every town, so clearing out your bag is on the way to wherever you were going.

Other servers hand out autofarm bots. Here, your presence is worth something: keep your chest guarded for the hours you are away, and find extra rewards that grow your character even while you are not playing.

Cosmetic Storage

Every cosmetic you have ever bound belongs to your ACCOUNT, not to one character and not to one bag. Fetch any of them at the Wardrobe beside any Storekeeper, or send them to your Item-Shop storage from the website while you are not even online. Costumes, hairstyles, weapon skins, back items and weapon glows - all of them stay available on every character you will ever make, and nothing is ever used up.

Player-owned housing

A place in the world that is yours. Walk up to your own house, put your name on it, make it part of your legend - we will not spoil the rest yet. No other Metin2 has ever done this.
